From A Distance
I can still recall the you looked when i first saw you. Jeans, T-shirt along with cute braids and a green hat. What i saw saw from a distance became even greater as i drew closer to the door. I knocked and took a chance and you opened the door, it felt like my jaw hit the floor. I took a risk to gain something and lose nothing and in my eyes i have succeeded. I have gained a person who i can call a friend from one breakfast date till the end. We have come along way from the Blue Plate diner in sugar house, our conversations have been very fun and talkative and never quiet as a mouse. Learned a lot about you in one day from breakfast to getting to know you and your parents by helping you move, to me I will always be grateful it was a joy beyond measure and indeed my pleasure. I look forward to a continual friendship down the path of life from a simple act of kindness we have become intertwined.
