Only The Lonely

Only The Lonely

A man stands lonely upon a city corner begging for something just anything to keep him going for his day to day means. A penny, nickle or dime to give him these things could it be no crime. An old wrinkly face scuffed on the edges a white grayish beard, just from seeing the looks we are feared. Old clothes they wear all the time this life style for them must blow, he chooses to beg for what reason we do not know maybe by the things we do they or we will grow. Abandoned by his family or chosen this path on his own he will eventually find his way home or where he wants to go. A woman all she has is bags on her feet all she need is a few other necessities to keep. We bring goodies to these people to help out and to be kind to another human under the same mind. Torn apart by others throughout a depressing childhood he did all he was able to stay afloat, until someone sank his boat. Gave up on the world now he sits among them to get back what he feels he deserves. Some sit on buckets with signs some true others make believe for only hoping for what they want to achieve. Some need money some need beer, spending it on the booze is what we fear. Buy them dinner or take them to lunch, get to know them as a person just don't group them as a bunch. We say at times hey look there is a bum begging but to someone else it could be a person needing help for they lack the simple essentials. Help is what they need what is really demanded is a friend in deed. There soul with in themselves is bleeding for they long to be loved but they have lost there connection with the man above. Give them a snack bring them a lunch bag, all we know is they wear an imaginary name tag. An alien to us a friend to some, just talk to them you will find out where they came from. They are always around us in society through out our days, ever since the beginning with the peasants it has been a sad craze. Hard days are always going there way, give them a brake and help out as you pass them through out your day. Do not be ashamed for helping them in any way, you will not be to blame just do your best it will be OK each day.
